In this class we will learn about wonders of world in Spanish

You must have heard about 7 Wonders of the World. The Taj Mahal in Agra city of India is also one of the seven wonders of the world. But why are these seven places called wonders and what are the seven wonders of the world, let us tell you that they are called the wonders of the world due to the magnificence of their construction which took place in ancient times. In the year 2000, a campaign was launched to select seven new wonders of the world from 200 existing monuments to choose the wonders of the world. The survey of this popularity was led by Bernard Weber from Canadian-Swissand the names of the winning locations of the Seven Wonders of the World were announced on 7 July 2007 in Lisbon. These were organized by the New 7 Wonders Foundation located in Zurich, Switzerland. Let us know in detail about the seven wonders of the world.

 Maravillas del Mundo Moderno

A pesar de la importancia de todas estas obras antiguas, en 2007 un concurso público e internacional seleccionó las 7 Maravillas del Mundo Moderno. Más de cien millones de votaciones, a través de Internet y SMS, determinaron la lista de monumentos que conforman esta nueva clasificación. Los ganadores y merecedores del título fueron:
  • Chichén Itzá, en México.
  • El Coliseo de Roma, en Italia.
  • La estatua Cristo Redentor, en Río de Janeiro, Brasil.
  • La Gran Muralla China, en China.
  • Machu Picchu, en Cuzco, Perú.
  • Petra, en Jordania.
  • El Taj Mahal, en Agra, India.
Como todos sabéis, las 7 Maravillas del Mundo Antiguo es una lista que recoge las obras arquitectónicas y escultóricas que marcaron un antes y un después en la historia.

Machu Picchu, un centro arqueológico, está en Cusco, Perú. Construida en la cima del Imperio Inca a mediados de la década de 1400. Taj MahalUn monumneto que emperador mogol Shah Jahan encargado a la esposa, fue construido entre 1632 y 1648. Considerado el espécimen más perfecto del arte musulmán en la India, la estructura de mármol blanco en realidad representa una serie de estilos arquitectónicos, incluyendo persa, islámico, turco e indio. Petra de Jordania : Declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1985, Petra fue la capital del imperio nabateo del rey Aretas IV, y probablemente existió en su mejor momento. Los miembros de esta civilización demostraron ser los primeros expertos en la manipulación de la tecnología del agua, la construcción de intrincados túneles y cámaras de agua, lo que ayudó a crear un pseudo-oasis.
